I feel that, since the game is called "A Wife and Mother", there should not be a problem having Dylan or Liam take over temporarily as the MC, as long as the story revolved around Sophie in some way.

That's a fair point but the problem for some of us is that we're not just having occasional different POVs but Dylan is an official "2nd MC" & designated so by the Dev. He's having storylines on his own & he's taking up an inordinate amount of game time, or an appropriate amount for a 2nd MC, depending on a fan's POV. It wouldn't have mattered so much if the pace of development was faster but instead of 1 update per month as promised, it's closer to 3 months. That's 2 & a half years for 1 PD & we're not even half way through the game.
Now we hear that things might speed up in 1-2 years time, (why not now?) but it's just as likely that things will get slower, as they always have, towards a time of 1 update per annum. Given past commitments vs. practice that's not implausible & we've probably all seen it done with other games, right before they blink out.
I no longer gamble but an interesting bet would have been, which will finish first, the patience & financial backing of Patrons, or the Dev's intention to continue? Odds could be even at present.

I see what your saying. In that case, sounds like the Dev should probably do a spinoff game about Dylan, instead of taking too much time away from the mother.

Or as DLC like the Coach Sophia storyline. Essentially what I've been trying to say.
Trying out this game for the first time. How/where do I "put and replace"? I searched the thread but wasn't able to find a clear answer. I've downloaded the CGs for the versions, just don't know where to place them.
Help would be greatly appreciated!

Goes from 10 to 25 percent in 3 days. 7 weeks till end of April which he might not make....thats 49 days.... image if he actually worked a real week.... just once.......like 40 hours..... wait wait.... he works 12 hour days already..... my bad.

Don't give him any more ideas. Now he'll probably find some way to work having the Hulk and the Avengers show up in the game too. Although having the Hulk stumble upon Sophia and then shouting, "Hulk SMASH...that." would be kind of funny.

My money would not be on the FinSubs. They're too submissive to notice the sunk cost fallacy. I could wager they will keep paying past the two year no update mark.

The other problem with the model L&P has decided to use is the possibility that the ruse will fail and his account will be shut down.
Particularly if the bonus storyline is going to eventuate in Dylan sleeping with Ellie. Is L&P going to be able to play wack-a-mole quickly enough deleting posts celebrating some actual incest in the game.

He could offer a discounted tier system on Subscribestar to get people to move away from Patreon and then dump the extra headache/work of the decoy patreon version. Doubtful he would do the math to justify the lowered income even with reduced effort/work.
