It's promising if this teaser is the beginning of the event. Because we are seeing Sophia almost naked. We only have one hetero nude Sophia scene and it's with Sam, so if the old farts can make that happen it's a W in my book. (but I won't get my hopes up either way).

I am too not expecting much from this update no matter how the teasers look. Flashing ,Teasing and maybe some groping but that's it.
I was about to say better not keep your hopes up but looks like you are satisfied with her simply flashing to old farts so you surely won't be disappointed unlike me.
Is this another path option in the beginning? Or LP just made a special render for that discord ?

It is a shame that in order to get this event and follow this path, we have to throw away the path with Sophia. The final scene of the slumber party event is, in my opinion, the best so far.

This doesn't have to be that way.
Side events involving other characters can fill many roles. First, entertainment to change up the story and add more interest in the game. The slumber party on its own fulfills that role. Second, side events could set up events with Sophia. Let's say for example there is a side story of Ellie and Jules. One or both could eventually feed off toward Sophia for the lesbian path as well as provide new characters. Third side events can help close plot holes or create new situations. L&P could use the college boys (day at the museum) help Patrica to cheat on her husband in a separate event that furthers a storyline where Patrica helps Sophia cheat with x, y, or z. Last, simplification would be another tool. Just having Ellie and Logan side events can end some paths while opening others without having to have parts, alternatives, and different outcomes.
The final scene of the slumber party event is, in my opinion, the best so far. You are 100% spot on save for yet another quirk of L&P plots and story. At the end of the slumber party Ellie witnesses Dylan getting a BJ. What is Ellie's reaction is plain stupid; she wonders what a delicious cock Dylan has and wonders how good it is to have it in her mouth rather than how he might feel inside her. Ellie is a virgin and young too...and the first thing in Ellie's mind is how good a BJ she could give? RIGHT! When you are young and inexperienced with the BIG QUESTION still an unknown, and the first thing you are thinking and worrying about is how his knob would be like to suck on
